AbbeyFest Concert Series At St. Norbert's

Join us for a new AbbeyFest Concert Series:  A Night of Stories & Songs that will be held on three successive nights at three different churches in the Philadelphia area.

“Our first AbbeyFest Concert Series will feature three exciting Catholic Christian music artists: our own parishioner Teresa Peterson, Luke Spehar from Minneapolis and Dana Catherine from Raleigh,” said AbbeyFest President Megan Schrieber.

The series kicks-off on Thursday, March 30, at St. Norberts in Paoli followed by Friday, March 31, at Nativity of Our Lord in Warminister and concludes on Saturday, April 1 at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul. The evenings start at 7:30 pm and there is a suggested $10 donation to cover costs.

A Night of Stories & Songs

Teresa Peterson’s enthusiasm and personality lights up the room with her heartfelt and angelic voice.  She has toured nationally, played on Relevant Radio, South by Southwest in Austin, TX, The Bitter End and St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC, 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville and before many college, retreats, and youth groups.

Singer, songwriter, and musician Luke Spehar blends an acoustic, folky style with raw and intimate lyrics.  He draws from the simple natural beauty of the outdoors and the common human experience including love, suffering, failures and triumphs that remind you of Glen Hansard.

Dana Catherine is a Catholic Christian singer/songwriter whose sweet and soulful voice is often compared to those of Lauren Daigle and Francesca Battistelli. Dana’s sound combines her magnetic voice and compelling melodies with lyrics that reflect the raw vulnerability of heartfelt prayer, making each of her songs more captivating than the last.

“The AbbeyFest Concert Series is our first step in making AbbeyFest Faith, Music and Family Festival into a year-round opportunity to hear Catholic Christian Contemporary Music from established and emerging artists,” said Megan Schrieber.  “It is also designed to extend the Holy Spirt-filled movement of AbbeyFest to churches and other venues around our area.”

All ages are welcome.  Make you plans now for this wonderful evening featuring great artists, touching stories and uplifting songs.

Please plan to join us and invite your friends and family!
