The Sacrament of Reconciliation celebrates healing through storytelling, by bringing our dark sides into the light of God’s forgiveness. Jesus began His risen life by giving His apostles power to forgive sins.
No matter how far afield we go in our faith journey, through God’s mercy and forgiveness, we can always begin again.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is normally offered in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Oratory:
Sunday: 9:30am – 10:30am (after the 9 am Mass).
By appointment with one of our priests by contacting the parish office
Other opportunities for receiving the sacrament occur during Penitential prayer services during Advent and Holy Week.
It is extremely important that our children come to understand the forgiving nature of our Lord. Our goal is to enable the children to experience God’s loving embrace and awesome mercy. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is an important step in preparing them for their First Eucharist.
We typically prepare children at the second grade level for this sacrament. If your child is not enrolled in St. Norbert School, arrangements to prepare for this sacrament are made through the Religious Education Office.LEARN MORE ABOUT FIRST RECONCILIATION AND CAFFE
