Help feed, clothe and serve those in our Bethesda Project homeless shelters in Philadelphia.

Bethesda Project: What can I do to help?

Food

  • Pick up 9 1/2 X 11-inch tin foil casserole pans on the table going into the Church sanctuary and take home. Make a casserole, place the lid on the top, mark the contents and the date. Recipes are there. Freeze immediately and take them to the Bethesda freezer. The Bethesda freezer is in the mechanical room, adjacent to the men’s bathroom off the Church narthex.
  • Pick up 9 1/2 X 11-inch tin foil casserole pans on the table going into the Church sanctuary and take home. Make a casserole with just: cooked hamburgers, hot dogs, roast beef and gravy, meatballs and sauce or sloppy joes, place the lid on the top, mark the contents and the date. Freeze immediately and take them to the Bethesda freezer. The Bethesda freezer is in the mechanical room, adjacent to the men’s bathroom off the Church narthex.
  • Pick up tan microwaveable individual containers and take home. Place individual meals in each container, meat/fish, potato/rice, and a vegetable. Freeze immediately and take to the Bethesda freezer. The Bethesda freezer is in the mechanical room, adjacent to the men’s bathroom off the Church narthex.

Donations

  • Give a donation: Make the check out to St. Norbert Parish and in the check memo line write Bethesda Project.
  • Mail it to St. Norbert Parish 50 Leopard Road Paoli PA 19301 or drop off at the parish office in the mail slot on the front door. You can also put it in the weekly collection basket in the narthex at Mass on Saturday/Sunday.
