NEW Mass Schedule starting in OCTOBER! Beginning

NEW Mass Schedule starting in OCTOBER! Beginning NEXT weekend of October 3-4th, St. Norbert Parish has changed the Saturday Vigil time from 4:00PM to 5:00PM and added a NEW mass time on Sunday at 11:00AM. These changes were made to accommodate the increased number of parishioners returning to mass in-person. All masses are liv-streamed for those at home.

Today, September 20th, the Church celebrates Catechetical Sunday throughout the United States. Thank you to all of our teachers of His Word! These include our school teachers, aides, clergy, parents, group leaders, and our wonderful parish staff and catechists. As we reflect this week on giving of our Time, Talent and Treasure--we are reminded of the gift of community we share at St. Norbert Parish. We are blessed. Today in our readings, we are reminded that actions without love are meaningless. That love is not about heroic acts, grand demonstrations, or big gifts. Instead, love is about practicing common courtesies and kindnesses with EVERYONE.
As Father Steve shared in Sunday's homily---love is more of a practiced art, a daily habit needing to be grown in us, a way of life we need to be ENGAGED in--together. Let's try to observe patience and exercise kindness and forgiveness. For this is the way we truly LOVE. #engage #love #faith #reflect

September 8th is the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mary's strong faith and trust in God all her to say yes to God's plan for her to be the Mother of Jesus. Today we thank God for the gift of Life, and give honor to Mary. Take a minute to say a special prayer to her today. Let us remember that God has created us with love and, like Mary, He has something special in mind for our lives!

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:20) Sunday's gospel speaks volumes about service---acts of kindness toward one another. We must service our relationships for them to grow. The next time you gather with others, consider how well you know each other. Ask yourself---Is there someone I'd like to get to know better? What can I do to help them? Is there someone I have a disagreement with, or someone who has something against me? Try to find common ground. Deeper fellowship with each other is worth pursuing!
