Friends,

This year we commemorate the 900th Anniversary of the Norbertines as a Catholic religious order. The Norbertines are the 5th oldest surviving religious communities within the Catholic Church, founded by St. Norbert of Xanten in 1120.

As Norbertines, we live together in community, leading a simple life and practice communal prayer every day. Each Norbertine takes a vow of poverty, chastity, and obedience. We live together in Abbeys across continents. Our call is to spread the Word of God, bring peace to our community and help others find healing and reconciliation within ourselves, among others, and with God.

St. Norbert’s Parish has been blessed for the years of service the Daylesford Abbey Norbertines have provided to this community. Please join me for a Livestream event broadcast from Prague. We’ll join in solemn Vespers on Saturday, November 28, at 12 noon Philadelphia time, where the relics of our founder St. Norbert will be revealed.

If you are unable to attend, you may view it on this Youtube channel.
